Sabbath Keepers Motorcycle Ministry

A Christian motorcycle ministry committed to spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Reminder: Yosemite Church Service June 27

After the WWII, SDA church was asked to provide worship service in Yosemite National Park on Saturday during summer month. Ever since then, Oakhurst SDA church has taken this responsibility for decades organizing Sabbath worships during summer months. It has been an honor that we, Central Valley SKMM, were asked to provide one Sabbath worship during the summer month. This year, we will be having worship service on June 27, sabbath school will start @ 0930, worship service will start @ 1030. We would like to extend invitation to everyone who would like to visit Yosemite National Park to worship with us on June 27. Light lunch will be served.

Sabbath Keepers are peculiar bikers

We come across other ministries like Black Sheep, CMA, Champions of Christ, Hellfighers and Disciples of Christ that give the message of unconditional love and forgiveness, but they don’t address the trampling of God’s law (especially the Sabbath), nor the role it will play in the closing events of prophecy, or how one can forsake sins--make a decided change in their lifestyles, honoring God through a new creation wrought by the power of grace.

There is still time to sign-up to man the GC booth

Eleven people have volunteered to man the Sabbath Keepers' booth at the General Conference. There are four-five people scheduled per day. The hours are going to be long and working in shifts will help, so the more volunteers we have for each day, the easier it will be on everyone to man the booth. Please check out the volunteer list and then sign up. Kevin Simpson needs to submit the names of those who are manning the booth soon.

Feeling lost?

If you inquire with my chapter, you’ll find out that I have led them on many trips with additional miles logged. I have utilized my bike’s GPS only to discover that there were shorter and quicker ways to arrive at our destinations, even on occasion misleading them. Just ask about the year we rode to the Loma Linda Christmas Toy ride and how I managed to take them on an eight mile treck through the suburbs only to discover if we stayed on the freeway, two miles ahead was the offramp for our stop!

Happy bikers for Christmas

While we were trying to find a family we could help out for the Christmas toy run, Jan, from our Ceres church, suggested a family to her husband Ernie who is a Central Valley member. The mother's name is Brezzy Sanchez; she is a single mom with two young boys: Jose is 7 years old and  Michael is 3 years old. Jan had told us that Brezzy was struggling financially to raise her boys. She lives in a very modest apartment with very few items in her home for their comfort. No Christmas tree or lights for the holidays.
