Veteran's Stand Down in Stanta Fe

This year the Santa Fe Chapter will be assisting in the Veteran's Stand Down for the fifth year in a row Oct. 25-26 from 9am-4pm. Veterans and near-homeless veterans will be able to get free clothing, backpacks, blankets, meals, health screening and numerous services at “Stand Downs” for homeless veterans in five cities in New Mexico.

Well I would guess it is about time to do the National Chaplain corner.  I apologize greatly to all of my fellow Sabbath Keepers. Our ministry has seen many challenges over the last couple years.  Our ministry is changing lives and has increased in its potential to touch lost souls. This has raised the adversary’s flag and brought forth his battle cries. The strongest attack he will bring will be to destroy our unity and try to fracture our Rock.

Reno/Sparks Chapter hosting booth at Street Vibrations

Contact President Brian if you're interested in attending and helping out with the booth because there are people interested in opening up their homes to riders who want to save money. Brian is also opening his home as a base to share meals and fellowship. His wife and other members from the Riverview Church are wonderful cooks! SKMM President has a break down

Yesterday at 4 p.m., while on the way to Ogden Weber County Fair, National SKMM President Tony Lambert's motorcycle stopped charging 26 miles from Salt Lake City, Utah. Central Valley President Akira Toyama and his wife Kim and Oakland President Keith Cordis were also with Tony. Fortunately, Utah Chapter President Dave Holland came to Tony's rescue.

Bikers, leather and church

The word biker conjures wild images of long-haired men sporting weathered leather cuts with skulls and crossbones tattooed on every inch of their body. So imagine what some pastors think when approached about starting a biker ministry at their church. Some embrace the idea, but others can’t get past the image of the Hells Angels sitting in their pews, dropping cocaine in the offering plate and insisting the tattoo parlor move next door.
